Oh boy - visited a few websites for Ketchikan last night and (as usual) the Visitors Bureau really has a LOT of information to offer and there is probably a LOT more to do in Ketchikan that we realized! I have been to Ketchikan a couple times on Alaska cruises but still pictured it as a “quiet little town” but it really isn’t. Getting excited about this, but it is 48 days away!

Airfare for Mom
Okay, she is booked and will be up in Ketchikan with us for 10 days. I hope she won’t be too bored. We still need to check out what we will do there besides relax in the cool air! We won’t have a car but we can rent one (I assume) when we need or want to do so.

Mom
Mom will be joining us for a week (or so, up to her) this summer in Ketchikan. I glanced at airfares for her out of SFO today. Seems to be good availability. We are just waiting to hear from Janice if she wants to join us. If we don’t hear by tomorrow I will go ahead and book it anyway.
